Our branch at Ostend airport handles : 

All formalities with FAVV/AFSCA ( Belgian Food Safety Agency) such as

    - issuing documents in the European traces system

    - preparing documentation for agriculture and fishery products 

    - preparing documentation for import of organic (bio) products 

    - preparing and accompanying physical EU conformity checks

    - preparing and accompanying physical PHYTO checks

    - preparing and accompanying physical organic (BIO) checks

    - all customs formalities (as mentioned  in customs representative)

Handling of cargo 

    - both proper handling and third party handling 

    - own warehouse airside at 50-150 meter/yards from aircraft stand

    -loading trucks (palletised in skids and on ULDs)

Chilled- and cold storage of goods at Ostend airport  

    - cold storage in freezer. -20 °C 

    - chilled storage in cold room  +3°C

    - own cold storage (400 sq.m /4.000 sq feet)

    - post-cooler. (no-vacuum cooler )

    - airport own chilled storage (500 sq.m / 5.000 sq feet) 

    - airport perishable center (1.500 sq m/ 15.000 sq feet)

Through our partnership network, we also offer our customs formalities in Brussels airport, Liege airport, Maastricht airport, Amsterdam airport, Cologne airport and Luxembourg airport.

Live Animals

LIVE HORSE  (only sport and leisure horses, no horses for slaughter )

All formalities with FAVV/AFSCA (Belgian Food Safety Agency, as competent authority for the veterinary checks in Belgium).

Import / Export/ Transit formalities 

In house experience in formalities for live horses:

- Ostend airport fully licensed for import/export live horses 

- EU approved stables at Ostend Airport 

- Quarantine stables available in the region (30 kms/20 miles)

Also formalities at Brussels and Liege airport for Horses .

OTHER ANIMALS 

Check with us before you intend to ship. 

Some animals need CITES certificates. 

We do not handle any animals for laboratory tests!
